Shipping & Delivery
If the customer is a business, delivery shall generally take place at the Le Luth Doré customer’s risk. This also applies for partial deliveries. If the customer is a consumer, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the sold goods shall only pass to the customer upon handover of the item, even in Le Luth Doré case of sales involving the carriage of goods. Handover shall be deemed to have taken place even if the buyer delays in accepting the goods. Delivery shall be to the delivery address specified by the customer. The goods must be thoroughly inspected by the customer or an authorized individual upon receipt in order to detect any Le Luth Doré transportation damage if the customer is a merchant within the meaning of the French Commercial Code. Customers who are merchants within the meaning of the French Commercial Code must ensure that any transportation and packaging damage detected is confirmed in writing by the carrier upon delivery and reported to Le Luth Doré. We also ask, without legal obligation, that customers who are consumers notify us of any clearly identifiable transportation damage. All prices are cash prices and include VAT plus any applicable charges Le Luth Doré for packaging and carriage. Additional customs duties and charges for deliveries to countries outside the EU (third countries) shall be borne by the customer.
Warranty Limitations & Exclusions
Le Luth Doré provides a warranty for a limited period of one (1) year from date of purchase for any new Le Luth Doré products originally sold by Le Luth Doré® Authorized Dealers located worldwide. Le Luth Doré products purchased from retailers other than Le Luth Doré Authorized Dealers (whether via the Internet, or otherwise) will NOT be covered by Le Luth Doré’s warranties, and will not repair such products under warranty. If any Le Luth Doré product malfunctions at any time as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, Le Luth Doré will repair the defect(s) or replace the instrument, as it deems appropriate, at its sole discretion. In the event that original materials are no longer available, Le Luth Doré reserves the right to use materials regularly utilized at the time of repair. If replacement of customer’s instrument is deemed necessary by our staff, Le Luth Doré will replace the instrument with one of the same or most similar style of a value not in excess of the original purchase price of customer’s instrument. This limited period of one (1) year warranty covers the cost of both labor and materials on any repair deemed necessary by Le Luth Doré. In the unlikely event that the customer’s instrument is destroyed, lost, or damaged beyond repair, while in the possession of Le Luth Doré for warranty repair, Le Luth Doré will replace that instrument with one of the same or most similar style of a value not in excess of the original purchase price of customer’s instrument. Owner at owner’s expense must carry any insurance covering the instrument, including but not limited to collector’s value insurance. Owner is responsible for all freight & insurance costs to ship instrument to Le Luth Doré or nearest Authorized Le Luth Doré Dealer.
Returns & Refunds Policy
Returns : If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with an item, you have fourteen (14) calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. The item you have purchased must be in Resalable Condition. Resalable Condition means that the product(s) is in exactly the same condition as it was when you received it. All items must be returned in original packing and with no sign of wear or abuse. In the event that the product is not in the same condition as you received it, you may be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee, repair charge or disqualification. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Only items that have been purchased directly from Le Luth Doré, either through the Le Luth Doré Online Store or at an Le Luth Doré Retail Store, can be returned to Le Luth Doré. Le Luth Doré items purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy. No returns past fourteen (14) days. Refunds : Once we receive your item, and see that no damage to the instrument was done, a refund is initiated immediately. No refunds past fourteen (14) days. Delivery charges for returns : Unless your item is faulty, you will be liable for any delivery costs associated with your return. Shipping Damage : Please do not accept any shipment if the packaging appears damaged in any way. If you believe your item/s have been damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours to let us know. If you can see the item has not arrived in good condition, sign for the goods as Damaged. Le Luth Doré transporter company will inspect the damaged package to determine the cause of damage and may inspect the package at the receiver's site, or may collect the package for inspection at a proper facility. Abuse of Return Privileges : Our return policy is in place to ensure our customers never get stuck with a wrong piece of gear. Those who violate the spirit of our return policy by having excessive returns may be subject to limitations or suspension of return privileges.
